Les Hoûmets is an award winning locally owned care home and has been operated by the Amy family for over thirty years. It is situated in Gorey village close to the shops, harbour and beach and it is part of a vibrant and friendly community.

Although a traditional building, Les Hoûmets has been fully modernised and equipped to provide the very best care. It has accommodation available for 29 residents in a wide choice of ensuite rooms including four luxury suites and four garden rooms.

Les Hoûmets offers round-the-clock skilled care from a highly committed and experienced team of staff, catering for the needs of residents from entry level to high dependency.

Staff are on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Low staff turnover ensures excellent continuity of care. As well as bespoke personal care packages, residents have access to on site hairdressing services, hand and nail treatments and chiropody.

Our residents enjoy delicious, wholesome food which is freshly prepared each day by a dedicated chef, using local produce wherever possible. Our chef is happy to cater for individual special diets and meal plans.

Weekly events include trips to town and the theatre, singing, keeping fit, arts and crafts classes and games such as bingo, quizzes, dominoes and chess.
